Dr. Feleke Tadele is responsible for the leadership, operations and management of the Country Office functions and projects/programs with local partners.

Prior to joining CCFC in December 2015, he held senior positions at HelpAge International in Ethiopia, OXFAM, CARE-USA and Save the Children Norway in Ethiopia, Horn of Africa and the Former Soviet Union countries such as Georgia, Azerbajan and Armenia.

Feleke has served on numerous Boards, including the Forum for Social Studies. He’s held the position of Board Chair of the Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Associations, a group of non-governmental organizations and civil society organizations engaged in activities such as agricultural development and food security; rural and urban development; and more.

The Country Director has a PhD in Development Studies, an MA degree in Social Anthropology and a BA in Applied Sociology. He served as a research fellow at the Oxford University in the United Kingdom in 1998 and Research Fellow and Coordinator for the Wellbeing in Developing Countries International Research Project of the University of Bath, United Kingdom (2004-8). Feleke taught master courses at Addis Ababa and Bahir Dar Universities and has had more than a dozen technical papers published in globally accredited journals.

Feleke and his wife have two daughters and two sons.
